Rigathi Gachagua has taken his United States diaspora tour to Kansas City, continuing a series of meetings with Kenyans living abroad.
Citizen Digital reported on 18 September that the DCP leader arrived with his spouse, Dorcas Rigathi, after earlier engagements in Spokane, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. His published itinerary placed the Kansas stop before planned visits to Dallas and Boston.
Gachagua has described the tour as a chance to hear from Kenyans abroad and discuss their role in the country’s political and economic future. The meetings combine community engagement with the opposition leader’s effort to maintain political organisation ahead of 2027.
The itinerary is a schedule, not confirmation that every later event has taken place. Citizen’s report listed Kansas engagements through 24 September, Dallas from 24 September to 1 October and Boston from 1 to 9 October.
For readers following the tour, the substantive questions are what proposals emerge from the meetings and whether any investment or organisational plans are subsequently documented. Reception crowds alone do not establish future election support.
