Embedded YouTube videos connect to YouTube when loaded. Its privacy rules apply to that service. Hustles Africa house promotions are ordinary links and do not load third-party advertising scripts. Their links include campaign tags identifying the placement, without personal identifiers. When you visit an advertiser’s website, its own privacy policy applies. The site includes a Google AdSense script for advertising setup. Google may process data when its services load. See Google’s privacy information at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Ad availability depends on Google’s review and account settings. We also use Netlify Web Analytics to understand website traffic from server requests.

Our first-party readership counter records daily article-view totals, broad traffic sources, Facebook post identifiers and whether a page remains visible for at least 30 seconds. It uses no cookies or persistent visitor identifiers and stores no IP addresses or full referrer URLs. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this counter. Aggregate readership counts are visible in the open Desk. These counts are estimates, not unique-person totals.
