Ol-Kalou residents will have an enhanced voter-registration window from Monday, 21 September, to Tuesday, 20 October, according to IEBC’s announcement reported by The Star and The Standard.
The exercise provides an opportunity for eligible residents to join the register and for existing voters to update their particulars ahead of the 2027 General Election. It follows the constituency’s parliamentary by-election, which was held in July.
The Standard reports that registration services will also be available at the IEBC Customer Experience Centre on the ground floor of Anniversary Towers in Nairobi. Residents should confirm the appropriate service point with the commission before travelling, particularly where they need to transfer their registration.
The end of the enhanced exercise is not presented as a permanent closure of registration in Ol-Kalou. The commission says ordinary continuous registration and revision of the register will resume at its constituency office afterwards.
The immediate date for residents to note is 21 September. This update concerns registration services, not a new voting day or the result of a future election.
